Podcasts with Audacity

It is podcasting Time. I have compiled some resources to assist with making and publishing podcasts.  Below you will find links for videos to help you create podcasts.  Audacity is a program on your computer that allows you to create and edit podcasts.

Getting Started with Audacity

  • Screencast 1: NHHS librarian Martha Hickson shows you how to record and edit a track.
  • Screencast 2: Adding a track and moving tracks with the time shift tool.
  • Screencast 3: Using the envelope tool to fade tracks in and out so that multiple tracks can play simultaneously.
  • Screencast 4: Podcasting guru Chris Shamburg shows you how to convert Audacity files to MP3 format using the LAME.dll.
